Karen’s latest “Kid’s Class” results
Karen has held several 6 week classes for the younger crowd. This is an ongoing outreach. This summer it was held in the morning, but when school is in session, it is held after school one day a week. The last session ended July 22nd. Here is the group with their weavings. "They were a delightful crew, aged 7-10, and they all enjoyed weaving. 3 were repeat students, and 3 were new." Email Karen for more information if you are interested in this for your child or children.
Guest House Museum Loom
Guest House Weavers and friends, Just wanted to share with you that the museum loom has been moved to a larger room across the hall from the former loom room. Folks coming up the stairs see the loom right away, the room has an ocean and train view, and 3 windows so lots of light. A new warp will be installed in the next few days, so more lovely rugs can be made and more visitors can enjoy seeing a real loom in action. This photo shows Jared Huffman's (our district House rep) family last Sat. while he was BBQing salmon.
