Class Description:
The class is a focus on color, texture and materials in weaving. We will use simple processes with hand manipulated weaves on two harness looms. We will explore how color, texture and materials interact in woven fabrics, in art, and in textiles. Through visual presentations and simple exercises, we will look at and play with various ways we can work out our design ideas.

Yarns will come from the Pacific Textile Arts yarn collections or you can bring your own.
