Karen has held several 6 week classes for the younger crowd. This is an ongoing outreach. This summer it was held in the morning, but when school is in session, it is held after school one day a week. The last session ended July 22nd. Here is the group with their weavings. "They were a delightful crew, aged 7-10, and they all enjoyed weaving. 3 were repeat students, and 3 were new." Email Karen for more information if you are interested in this for your child or children.

A new warp will be installed in the next few days, so more lovely rugs can be made and more visitors can enjoy seeing a real loom in action. This photo shows Jared Huffman's (our district House rep) family last Sat. while he was BBQing salmon.

Larochette Book, The Tree of Lives Presentation was a huge success. Jackie traveled on the road with Jean Pierre and Yael in their two small motor homes from Fort Bragg to Moscow, Idaho. The book about their lives together was received with huge enthusiasm at all the venues. Many of us have just finished reading this remarkable book and are amazed and thrilled with all that it reveals. Congratulations from all of us at PTArts. Click to see book cover:
