Weaving with Chenille -Sue Luna

Class Plan: Looms will be pre-warped but not tied on and the class will start there. There will be 7 yards of warp, enough warp to make 3 scarves per loom. Play with different designs on different looms and students will be able to create their own scarf to take home. The looms will be ready to tie on different patterns or blocks. This class is appropriate for beginners or anyone interested in learning to work with chenille.

Students should bring: A Grab bag that includes scissors, notebook & a bag lunch, there is a refrigerator and microwave.

BIO:
Living remote in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains I fell in love with weaving. In 1978 I started a line of chenille scarves that led to becoming a production weaver. Magic Strands grew from a single loom in my living room to a warehouse in Chico with 12 looms and many employees.
